When it comes to Halloween costumes, inspiration is everything. And so is the Instagram caption! I’ve put together a few of my favorite easy Halloween costumes that are cute, cheap and clever as can be.

This last minute Halloween costume is easy to achieve and super cheap. I just snagged a Hot Wheels tee from Forever 21, threw on some biker shorts and bought a cheap little checkered flag to wave around. You could also take the NASCAR route with denim Daisy Dukes, a white NASCAR tee and boots.

This is one of my favorite Halloween costumes because it’s so versatile! Wild Child, Wild Thing, Queen of the Jungle… the options are endless! If you’re looking to achieve this look in time for Halloween, order this tropical cheetah two-piece set from Revolve and you can get two-day expedited shipping! I would suggest going down a size in the set. If you’re low on time, just cut a bone shape out of white paper and fasten to your pony!
For another variation of this costume, toss on a coral dalmatian print dress (very in style right now), throw a bone in your hair and call yourself Pebbles Flinstone. Buy a cheap caveman club, and BAM! You’re Bam Bam.

I love the idea of an intergalactic Halloween costume and this one was easy to pull off. Buy something silver, reflective or metallic set and you’ll be looking out of this world. Top it off with cyclops glasses from Amazon and a homemade Space Cadet sash, no troop needed.

All you’ll need for this costume is a fur coat, black and white costume hair dye, red lips and perhaps a cigarette. I layered my Forever21 fur coat over a black turtleneck and black leather pants with some strappy black heels.
