Add an extra element or two to your athleisure look! This OOTD is great for studying on campus or heading to class and looks even fiercer when paired with a quilted, black leather backpack.
How to achieve this #OOTD:
Cropped White Tee
My white tee of choice is from the Kendall & Kylie line at Pascun. Feel free to substitute a graphic tee or your favorite tee from the university bookstore.
Mesh Lined Cropped Athletic Leggings
It’s no secret that incorporating mesh into your activewear is really hot right now. This pair of leggings from Forever21 features a band of mesh that has a lengthening effect, making your legs look longer. Holla at all my short girls out there, these are the cropped leggings you’ve been looking for all your life.
Black Nike’s
These black Nike In-Season TR 4 Training Shoes with accents of gray jersey material have been my saving grace when it comes to athletic wear. They pair well with jeans for a euro look but are also practical for hitting the gym. They’re extremely versatile and add an air of sophistication to almost any athletic look. Definitely a solid investment.
Oversized Jean Jacket
For the finishing touches on this look, you’ll need a jean jacket or chambray shirt. I went with a light wash, oversized jean jacket that can be easily found at a local thrift store. The classic jean jacket is a staple for your wardrobe, but don’t be afraid to think outside the box when it comes to the classics. Consider using your jean jacket as an accent tied around your waist. When paired with a white crop tee and high waisted leggings, it will accentuate your hips and provide some dimension and unique shape to your outfit.
Simple Choker
This black choker with a distressed cream stone charm cost me a total of $3 at Forever21 but completely ties this look together. It adds some edge to your athleisure look that basically says you’re not exactly planning on heading to the gym today, but you’re also not messin’ around when it come to your style.
Modifications
Consider complimenting this look with a black leather baseball cap or french pigtail braids.
